GCP Cloud Engineer

Relevant Work Experience – 4+ years

Status – Full Time

Location – WFO, PAN- INDIA (PWC locations)

Key Responsibilities : 

• Design, develop, and deploy modular systems on Google Cloud (VMs, K8s clusters, Cloud SQL, IAM, Shared VPC, etc.).
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Github, CloudBuild, Jenkins, and Ansible to manage GCP infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using Terraform for cloud solution management.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Monitor infrastructure performance using Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Perform data migration and set up Enterprise Landing Zones with Migrate for Compute Engine and Terraform.
• Regularly evaluate and optimize systems for improved efficiency and security.
• Interact with clients, providing cloud support and making recommendations based on their needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Kubernetes, VPC, networking, IAM, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with client management experience.
• Relevant GCP, HashiCorp, and CKAD certifications preferred.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with migration processes and landing zone setups using Terraform and Migrate for Compute Engine.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and infrastructure compliance.

Preferred Certifications:

HashiCorp and CKAD certifications
