L2 Support – Job Descriptions

1. L2 Support Engineer – PYTHON SCRIPTING & UNIX

• Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying and troubleshooting (including large datasets).
• Skilled in Python or any scripting language for automation and data transformation.
• Able to independently handle L2 support activities.
• Familiar with L3 support tasks (incident resolution, escalations, root cause analysis).
• Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Can read, understand, and write code.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

2. L2 Support Engineer – JAVA DEBUGGING, UNIX & SQL

• Strong experience in production support (80% focus).
• Capable of Java code debugging and minor enhancements (20% focus).
• Proficient in Unix/Linux and SQL.
• Able to handle issues independently and perform root cause analysis.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Clear and effective communicator with technical and non-technical teams.
• Banking domain experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
